Kaffir Lime Leaves Recipe

- 11 fresh kaffir lime leaves
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red chili
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tbls water

Directions
Rinse the kaffir lime leaves and pat them dry with a paper towel.
In a small bowl, whisk together water and sugar and soak the leaves in it.
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced red chili, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the kaffir lime leaves to the frying pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until they become crispy.
Pour the fish sauce mixture into the frying pan, and stir-fry for an additional 30 seconds until the leaves are coated in the sauce.
Remove the frying pan from the heat and transfer the kaffir lime leaves to a serving plate.
