Refreshing Strawberry Cake
Today, I have prepared a strawberry cake that everyone will certainly be able to make. I admit it, I dug up my recipe for a no-bake ladyfinger cake and replaced the ladyfingers with a tender and fluffy base. The cake has a delicious strawberry filling.
Ingredients
On the road:
- 4 a piece egg
- 165 g semolina sugar
- 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 180 g special fine flour
- 1 tablespoon vanilla paste
For the cream:
- 400 ml whipped cream
- 300 g sour cream
- 2 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1 ts lemon peel
For the fruit part:
- 200 g Strawberry puree
- 1 pcs Jelly cake red
For decoration:
- 200 g strawberry
- peppermint

We often prepare it by separating the egg whites from the yolks. We add sugar and salt to the egg whites and whisk them into stiff peaks. We add the yolks mixed with oil, vanilla paste, whisk it and finally gently mix in the sieved cake flour. We bake it in a cake ring with a diameter of 19 cm, which is lined with baking paper and the edges are greased with butter. Temperature 180 degrees for 45 minutes in the top-bottom heat mode. After baking the cake body, we divide it into 2 parts.
We prepare the cream by mixing whipped cream with 3PL of vanilla sugar and other ingredients. Gradually, we spread it on the cake layers with a piping bag, making sure to add sliced strawberries between each layer. For the 2nd layer of the cake, we prepare a fruit filling according to the instructions on the gelatin packet, substituting part of the water with strawberry puree.
TIP: We can also use other seasonal fruits and if we want to save time - instead of the crust, we can use ladyfingers or other cookies.
