Prime Rib
A succulent, juicy, tender, and easy-to-make prime rib that will satisfy everyone's taste buds! This classic dish, paired with roasted vegetables and a red wine sauce, is perfect for formal dinners or a cozy family meal.
Ingredients
Prime Rib
- 3 kg bone-in prime rib roast
- 2 tablespoon Kosher salt
- 2 spoon black pepper
Roasted Vegetables
- 500 g carrots
- 500 g potatoes
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
Red Wine Sauce
- 1 bottle red wine
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour

Directions
Preheat your oven to 220 degrees C (425 degrees F).
Season the prime rib with salt and pepper.
Place the prime rib in a roasting pan, bones down.
Roast the prime rib at 220 degrees C for 20 minutes.
Lower the temperature to 120 degrees C (250 degrees F), and continue roasting for 2 hours.
While the prime rib is roasting, prepare the vegetables.
Toss the carrots and potatoes in olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and roast in the oven for about 45 minutes.
For the red wine sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, and stir until it forms a paste.
Slowly add red wine to the paste, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
Slice the prime rib, serve with vegetables and pour the sauce.
