1. Step

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Add a cup of milk and a cup of oil.

2. Step

Beat in the eggs and mix gently but thoroughly, taking care not to leave any lumps. You may want to sprinkle in the walnuts, but keep some on top.

3. Step

Pour the mixture into a medium-sized baking pan lined with baking paper and sprinkle with the remaining walnuts.

4. Step

Bake in a preheated oven over medium heat (180 degrees) for about 20 minutes. The baking time depends on the oven, of course, but if you are not sure, you can check with a pin test.
