Mix the cucumbers, onions and pepper in a cooker.

Add salt, and then fill the cooker with water to the top. Let soak overnight.

To make the mixture, combine the sugar, flour, dry mustard, and turmeric in another cooker. Mix, then add the vinegar and whisk it together.

Bring to a boil, and cook for two hours.

Sterilize some mason jars by soaking them in boiling water for 15 minutes. Then fill them with the mustard pickles mixture.

Can the jars by putting them in boiling water for 10 minutes. There should be enough water to slightly cover the jars.
