Cream sauce with chicken
Cream sauce with chicken and mushrooms is a favorite dish not only in our family. I regularly prepare it for weekend lunches and everyone always enjoys it.
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken meat
- 250 g fresh mushrooms (wild or cultivated)
- 1 a piece onion
- 2 Spoons olive oil
- 1 mug cooking cream
- 1 Spoons Smooth flour
- salt and pepper to taste

Start by preparing all the ingredients. Cut up the chicken, clean and chop the mushrooms.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion until golden brown. Personally, I recommend adding the onions a little earlier so that they have enough time to roast slowly and get the right flavour.
Add the chicken to the pan and fry it on both sides. You can lightly salt and pepper the chicken, but beware, the sauce will also be seasoned, so be careful with that.
Once the meat is done, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté them with the meat until the mushrooms are soft.
Mix the flour with the cream to form a smooth mixture, which you then add to the pan. Stir well and simmer over a low heat until the sauce thickens. The mushrooms in the sauce will absorb the creamy flavour well, creating the perfect combination.
Season the food to your taste with salt and pepper and you're done!
