- 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 2 tbls of distilled white vinegar
- 1⁄2 Cup of light soy sauce
- 2 tbls of peanut butter
- 2 tbls of honey or brown sugar
- 2 tbls of sesame seed oil
- 1 tablespoon of hot sauce or to taste
- 20 gms of fermented black beans or miso
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of ground black pepper.

Blend or process the garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, peanut butter, honey, sesame oil, hot sauce, black beans, and black pepper together until smooth.

For a smoother sauce, strain the mixture through a fine sieve. This step is optional and mainly depends on your desired texture.
