Asian Chicken Soup
A warming and hearty soup, packed with traditional Asian flavors. This simple dish is perfect as a standalone meal or as an appetizer for an Asian feast.
Ingredients

- 1 whole Chicken
- 1 Piece onion
- 3 Cloves garlic
- 5 cm fresh ginger
- 3 l water
- 2 Rods lemon grass
- 2 Leaves kaffir lime leaves
For serving
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
- 2 Piece spring onions

Directions
To prepare the Asian chicken soup, first put the chicken, onion, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves into a large pot. Add the water and bring it to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
Remove the chicken from the soup and let it cool. Remove the meat from the bone and cut it into small pieces.
Pour the soup through a sieve into a clean pot. Add the soy sauce and the fish sauce and taste.
Put the chicken meat back into the soup and heat until it is hot.
Fill the Asian chicken soup into bowls and garnish with fresh coriander and spring onions. Serve hot.
