Simple Homemade Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 2 cups of bread flour
- 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast
- 2 tbls of honey
- 2 tbls of Canola oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 13⁄4 cups of warm water

Directions
In a large bowl, mix both flours before setting it aside.
In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water with honey, and let it stand for about 5 minutes.
Add the flour mixture, canola oil, and salt into the yeast mixture. Stir until you form a soft dough.
Sprinkle some flour on a flat surface or board, and transfer your dough onto it. Knead for about 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Grease a bowl with oil, place your dough in it, and cover it with a damp cloth. Leave it to double in size for about one and a half hours.
Punch down the dough, then shape into your desired loaf shape and place in a greased loaf pan. Cover with the damp cloth again, letting it rise for another 30 to 40 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Baker the bread for about 45 minutes until it sounds hollow when lightly tapped.
Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool completely. Your whole wheat bread is ready to serve.
