Sauteed Italian Porcini Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 1 lb porcini mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
- 3 tbls unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1⁄4 Cup dry white wine
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the porcini mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they start to soften and release their moisture, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the fresh thyme and parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the white wine and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the liquid has reduced slightly.
Remove from heat and transfer the porcini to a dish. Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.
Serve hot and enjoy!
