Sauerkraut Salad with Apples
Juicy and tasty sauerkraut salad with apples full of vitamins, which is ideal as a side dish to meals or just as a snack.

- 500 g sour cabbage
- 2 pcs apples
- 1 pcs onion
- 50 ml oil
- 2 spoons sugar

1. Step
We remove the cabbage from the container and let it drain. If it's too sour, we can rinse it under cold water.
2. Step
Peel the apples and onions and cut them into thin strips. We can sprinkle the apples with lemon juice so they don't turn black.
3. Step
Heat oil in a pan, add sugar and gently caramelize. Then add the onions and simmer until they soften.
4. Step
Add sauerkraut and apples to the pan, stir and simmer for another 5 minutes.
5. Step
Let the finished salad cool down and then we can serve it.
