Potato soup with dill
Recipe for a light and delicious potato soup with dill.
Ingredients
- 1 kg potato
- 1 pcs onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoon Oils
- 200 ml cream
- 1 l chicken broth
- Salt, ground black pepper for seasoning
- dill

Directions
First, peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized cubes.
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onions are soft and golden.
Then add the sliced potatoes and sauté together for a few more minutes. Quickly roasting the potatoes before cooking helps to release their starches, which helps to thicken the soup.
Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer. Then add the dill and let it cook for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
At the end add cream, salt and pepper to taste. Let the soup simmer for a while and then remove from the heat.
Serve hot, sprinkled with fresh dill.
