Pork brisket on mushrooms
For this recipe, I always look forward to the moment when I roast the pork brisket until golden and then pour the fragrant mushroom sauce over it.
Ingredients
- 800 g Pork brisket
- 300 g mushrooms
- 1 The Onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200 ml cooking cream
- Salt, black pepper
- marjoram
- Oil for frying

Clean, salt and pepper the pork brisket. Then fry it on all sides in a frying pan in oil. Then transfer it to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 1 hour. Careful, the pork breast should be tender.
While the meat is baking, prepare the mushroom sauce. Chop the onion and garlic finely and sauté in a frying pan in oil, add the sliced, salted and seasoned mushrooms. When the mushrooms are slightly yellowed, add the cooking cream. I personally recommend letting the sauce simmer for a while to allow all the flavours to combine.
Cut the finished meat into slices and serve with mushroom sauce.
