Oven Baked Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken Tenders
These Sweet Chilli Chicken Tenders are super easy to make, irresistibly delicious, and perfect for a fuss-free weeknight dinner or party appetizer. The chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a zingy sweet chilli sauce for a perfectly balanced flavor.
Ingredients
- 500 gms chicken tenders
- Salt and pepper to your taste
- 1 Cup flour for dredging
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 Cup breadcrumbs
- 1 Cup sweet chilli sauce
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set it aside.
Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, shaking off any excess, then dip it in the beaten egg. Finally, coat the chicken tender in the breadcrumbs. Repeat this with all of the chicken tenders.
Place the breaded chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet and drizzle them with vegetable oil.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken tenders are golden brown and fully cooked.
While the chicken is cooking, heat the sweet chilli sauce in a large pan over medium heat.
Once the chicken is cooked, toss the tenders in the heated sweet chilli sauce until fully coated.
Arrange the coated chicken tenders in a serving dish, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve while hot.
