Korean BBQ Beef Short Ribs at Home

- 2 lbs Beef Short Ribs, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb piece of Ginger, minced
- 3⁄4 Cup light soy sauce
- 1⁄2 Cup sugar
- 2 tbls With
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Gochujang (Korean Red Pepper Paste)
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Lettuce leaves for serving
- 4 cups Cooked jasmine rice for serving
Korean BBQ Sauce:
- 4 tbls soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoon Gochugaru (Korean Red Pepper Powder)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon With
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions
In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, honey, sesame oil, gochujang, and black pepper for the marinade. Add the thinly sliced beef and onions. Make sure every piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight if possible.
Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef in batches if needed, about 2-3 minutes per side. Sprinkle with green onions while grilling.
While grilling the meat, prepare the BBQ sauce by combining all the sauce ingredients in a separate bowl.
Serve the grilled beef along with the BBQ sauce, lettuce leaves and, cooked jasmine rice. Wrap the meat with the lettuce and rice and enjoy the BBQ Korean style.
