Halloween cake pops
We show them a Halloween cake pops recipe made from chocolate cake with different decorating ideas. Crumbled cake batter is mixed with buttercream and skewered on sticks ,then covered with candy melts icing. The decoration is a lot of imagination.
Ingredients
Cake dough
- 125 gr whole-wheat flour
- 60 gr cocoa
- 1⁄2 tablespoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 Spoon baking soda
- 120 gr butter
- 70 gr sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 120 ml milk
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
Chocolate buttercream
- 180 gr confectionery sugar
- 6 Tablespoon cocoa
- 3 Tablespoon butter
- 21⁄2 Tablespoon milk
- 1⁄4 tablespoon vanilla essence
Décor
- Candy Melts in black and white (similar to couverture )
- Spritz icing in red, green and orange
- Mini Smarties
- Sugar sprinkles in orange black
- 30 Cake Pop Skewers

Directions
Mix the cake batter ingredients into a batter and pour it into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake the chocolate cake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 min and let it cool.

Crumble the cake and mix with the buttercream and mix lightly. This resembles a cookie dough.

Form balls from the dough and skewer them on cake pop sticks. Allow to cool slightly. Dip the skewers in a little Candy Melt beforehand so that they stick better to the cake pops.

Melt white Candy Melt in the microwave and dip the Cake Pop, decorate with Smarties eyes . Let cool on a cake pop stand. Use frosting to mimic white spider webs.
