Classic Homemade Pepperoni Pizza
A delicious homemade pepperoni pizza that’s easy to make and perfect for a family movie night. This recipe includes a homemade pizza crust, zesty tomato sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, and spicy pepperoni slices.
Ingredients
For crust:
- 21⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 Cup warm water
- 2 tbls olive oil
For the sauce:
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper
For the toppings:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1⁄2 Cup sliced pepperoni
- 1⁄4 Cup Sliced black olives
- 1⁄4 Cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1⁄4 Cup chopped onion
- 1⁄4 Cup Chopped fresh parsley

Directions
Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F/218°C.
To make the pizza dough, in a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
Gradually add the warm water and olive oil, stirring until the dough comes together and forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a bowl and cover it with a damp towel. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
While the dough is resting, make the tomato sauce. In a blender, combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased pizza pan.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza crust.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese all over the top of the sauce.
Arrange the sliced pepperoni, green bell pepper and onion on top of the pizza.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the crust is crispy and golden brown.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
