Chocolate and puff pastry Christmas tree recipe

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 75 g chocolate
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream

In the microwave, melt the chocolate. Add the cream and mix.

Divide the dough in half and place one half on a baking tray with baking paper. Cover with the chocolate and place the other half of the puff pastry on top. Cut out the shape of the Christmas tree. Remove the leftover dough, but keep the larger pieces.

Make small horizontal cuts along the length of the tree to simulate leaves. Roll each strip around itself.

Cut out stars from the leftover dough with a mould and place one at the top of the tree.

Paint the tree and the stars with a beaten egg. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for about 15 minutes.
