Carrot recipe only 5 ingredients
This carrot and vegetable recipe is a family favorite in our home and I have made it several times. It is undoubtedly a delicious and nutritious dish that is packed with the flavor of fresh carrots and savory spices. The sweetness of the carrots combined with the aroma of parsley makes for an incredibly tasty experience every time.
Ingredients
- 1 kg carrots
- 1 cut onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Chopped parsley

Directions
To prepare carrot vegetables, first wash the carrots thoroughly and peel them. I recommend using a vegetable peeler to avoid unnecessary waste. Then cut the carrots into slices or cubes, depending on your preference.
Peel and chop the onion and garlic, with finely chopped garlic always releasing more flavor.
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the onion and garlic and fry until lightly golden brown. It is important to stir them constantly so that they do not burn.
Now add the sliced carrots and stir everything well. Cover the pan and cook the carrots over a medium heat until they are soft. If necessary, add a little water to prevent the carrots from burning.
After about 15-20 minutes, the carrots should be soft enough. If not, leave them to cook for a few more minutes.
Finally, add salt, pepper and chopped parsley to the carrot vegetables. Stir well and cook for a further 2-3 minutes so that all the flavors are well mixed together.
I often make this vegetable dish as a side dish to meat dishes or simply serve it with fresh bread. It's easy to prepare and always a hit.
