1. Step
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash and halve your tomatoes. Place them on a baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper. Pour over with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Toss the tomatoes around a little, then arrange them with the cut side up.

Bake for 105 to 150 minutes, according to preference. Let the tomatoes cool, and either serve right away, or store in refrigerator for a week or so. After freezing they will last up to six months.
