Best Chinese Honey Soy Sauce Chicken Breasts
Honey Soy Chicken is a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The chicken is marinated in a mixture of honey, soy sauce, and aromatic spices, then grilled or baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbls soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tbls vegetable oil

Directions
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound them. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook .
Reduce the heat to medium and pour soy sauce mixture into the skillet. Cover and simmer about 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, and the sauce has thickened.
