BBQ Sauce Slow Cooked Beef Brisket
This is the perfect meal for a lazy weekend dinner. Tender and flavorful meat is sure to impress your family and friends. Moreover, it's super easy to make, and the cooking process gives the meat its softness and juiciness.
Ingredients
- 5 lb beef brisket
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbls of olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garl
- 2 cups broth
- 1⁄2 Cup of BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon maize starch
- 2 tbls of cold water

Directions
Start by trimming any excess fat from the beef brisket.
Heat the olive oil in a large over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, sear brisket for about 2-3 minutes per side until it's nicely browned.
Transfer the brisket to a slow cooker. Add the sliced onion and chopped garlic on top.
Pour the beef broth and BBQ sauce over the brisket.
Cover the slow cooker and brisk on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours until it's tender and easily shred with a fork.
Once the brisket is done, transfer it to a cutting board and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl unti. Add to the sauce in the slow cooker and stir until it thickens.
Cut the meat into thick slices and serve it with the sauce.
