Almond butter
Recipe for homemade almond butter.

Heat the oven to 180°C. Spread them out on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for approximately 15 minutes. Make sure they don't turn black, bitterness will spoil the overall impression.
Place the cooled almonds in a food processor with a blade and start blending.
After some time, the almonds start to release their oils and the mass needs to be blended further. The whole process takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on the power of the blender, during the process it is necessary to occasionally pull the mass off the sides of the blender.
Once you reach a creamy consistency, the job is done. Add a pinch of salt and sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired. Transfer the finished almond butter to a jar with a lid and refrigerate.
