These butter biscuits are delicious. To make them you only need 4 very inexpensive ingredients that you have at home. This recipe is very easy to make. You will love them and you won't want to buy them at the grocery shop anymore!

- 330 g self-rising flour
- 250 g butter
- 110 g sugar
- 1 yolk

Put the butter in a bowl. Add the sugar and mix.

Add the egg yolk. Mix until the ingredients are combined.

Remove the dough from the bowl and place it on a surface. Shape it into a cylinder.

Cut in half and wrap each piece in cling film. Put the dough in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Take the dough out of the fridge and remove the cling film. Then cut into pieces about half a centimetre thick.

Put baking paper on the base of a baking tray and the homemade butter cookies.

Put the tray in the oven and bake at 180º, with heat up and down, for about 12 minutes. Leave the biscuits to rest for 10 minutes outside the oven.
