Sweet & Sticky Oven Baked Barbecue Ribs
Sticky Oven Barbecue Ribs are a mouthwatering combination of sweet and tangy flavors that will be sure to become one of your family's favorites. These ribs, slow-roasted in your oven, take on a smoky flavor with a sauce that gets sticky and delicious in the best possible way!
Ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back ribs (around three pounds)
- 1⁄4 Cup of brown sugar
- 1⁄4 Cup of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper
- 2 cups of barbecue sauce

Directions
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
Rub this spice mixture over both sides of the ribs, covering them entirely.
Lay the ribs on two layers of foil, shiny side out and meaty side down.
Lay two layers of foil on top of the ribs and roll and crimp edges tightly, edges facing up to seal.
Place on baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 2 hours or until the meat starts to shrink away from the ends of the bone.
Remove from oven, carefully unwrap ribs and discard the upper layers of foil.
Brush barbecue sauce on the ribs, meaty side up.
Increase oven temperature to 300°F (150°C) and return ribs to the oven, baking uncovered for approximately 25 minutes.
Let the ribs cool for a few minutes before cutting and serving.
