- 1⁄2 Cup light soy sauce

- 4 green onions, finely chopped

In a large bowl or Tupperware, mix the light soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Place the pork belly into the mixture and toss to make sure the meat is fully coated.
Cover the bowl or Tupperware and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or for the best results, leave it for 24 hours.
