Quick Asian Vermicelli Noodle Stir Fry
This delicious Vermicelli noodle stir fry recipe is an Asian-inspired dish packed with crisp vegetables, succulent shrimp, and a tangy sweet and sour sauce. Ingredients
- 200 gms of Vermicelli noodles
- 150 gms of Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 Bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 Carrots, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium Onion, sliced
- 4 Green onions, sliced into long pieces
- 2 tbls soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- salt and black pepper to taste

Directions
Soak the vermicelli noodles in warm water for about 10 minutes until they become soft. Drain and set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat.
Add the garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
Add the bell peppers and carrots into the wok. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
Add the drained vermicelli noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the wok. Stir well to ensure the noodles and vegetables are evenly coated in sauce.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste and continue to stir fry for another minute.
Finally, add the sliced green onions, give it a last quick stir and remove from heat.
Serve the vermicelli noodle stir fry hot garnished with more green onions if desired.
