Quick and easy recipe for Original Dagwood Dog
This is a sausage on a stick that has been coated in a thick layer of cornmeal batter and deep-fried. It originated in the United States and is commonly found in American cuisine, but there is a famous Korean version that is also loved by everyone.

- 300 g wheat flour. g water
- 36 g vegetable oil
- 7 g salt
- 20 g sugar
- 6 sausages
- 6 cubes cheese
- 6 g wooden sticks. glutinous rice flour or corn flour

1. Step
In a small bowl, mix warm water with instant yeast, salt, sugar and oil.
2. Step
Add wheat flour and glutinous rice flour. Mix with a spoon.
3. Step
Let stand for 1 hour or until doubled in volume.

Put sausages and cheeses on the sticks.
5. Step
Coat the sausage and cheese with the dough.

Coat the sticks in flour. For the Korean version, the same procedure can be done using panko, bburinkle, ramen or crushed Cheetos.

Fry in hot oil.

Place on a rack to drain the oil. Eat with your favourite dips.
