Directions
I boiled 3 big potatoes for 25 dumplings in the pantry. I peeled and cooled them, then grated them on a fine grater. I added a teaspoon of salt, one egg, and approximately 200g of semi-coarse flour to them. Add the flour gradually, so the dough is not too tough or too thin.
I made some dough, rolled it out on a floured board and cut it into rectangles. I pitted the plums, put a little bit of granulated sugar into each one and wrapped them in dough. I boiled the little dumplings in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes.
Curd sauce: I mixed the curd with a raw egg, sugar, and cream. Cooked plum dumplings I took out of the boiling water directly into the curd sauce.
Plum dumplings in curd sauce taste great, even though my dad prefers the classic ones with roasted breadcrumbs and sugar. 😅 Enjoy your meal 😋
