Mashed potatoes with peas

It's a simple dish that's perfect as a side dish for main meals or as a quick dinner.

1. Step

In the first step, clean the potatoes and cut them into smaller pieces. Place the potatoes in a pot of water and boil for about 15 minutes.

2. Step

Meanwhile, as the potatoes are cooking, prepare the peas. Frozen peas are convenient because they don't need to be blanched classically. Simply place it in a bowl of warm water and leave it for 10 minutes or so.

3. Step

When the potatoes are soft, drain them and keep them aside. Throw the butter into the pot, add the milk and mash them.

4. Step

When the porridge is ready, add the peas and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste.
