Make your own chocolate fruits

These chocolate fruits are a dream come true for all chocolate and fruit lovers. I first made this recipe a few years ago when I was looking for a light, yet sweet and chocolatey dessert. Since then, they have been a staple at my parties and an absolute hit with my guests.

Directions

50 min.
1. Step

For the chocolate fruit recipe, first prepare the fruit. I recommend cutting it into bite-sized pieces so that it is easier to eat.

2. Step

Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds to ensure that it melts evenly and does not burn. This is a very important step, otherwise the chocolate may lump.

3. Step

Now place the prepared pieces of fruit on the wooden skewers.

4. Step

Dip the fruit skewers into the melted chocolate one at a time, making sure they are completely covered. I have found that it is easier to spread the chocolate evenly if you turn the fruit on the skewers as you pull it out of the chocolate.

5. Step

Place the chocolate-covered fruit on a baking tray lined with baking paper and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.

6. Step

That's all there is to it! Enjoy your homemade chocolate fruits as a delicious snack or light dessert.
