- 1 Piece red cabbage
- 2 Piece apple
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 200 ml red wine
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 TL salt
- 1 TL pepper
- 1 Pinch cloves

1. Step
For the red cabbage, cut the red cabbage and the apples into thin strips.
2. Step
In a large pot, let the sugar melt until it caramelizes.
3. Step
Add the apples and sauté until they are soft.
4. Step
Add the red cabbage and stir well, so that it is fully mixed with the caramelized sugar and the apples.
5. Step
Add red wine, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper and cloves and stir well.
6. Step
Put the lid on the pot and let everything simmer for at least an hour.
7. Step
Make sure to stir occasionally to prevent the red cabbage from burning.

When the red cabbage is tender, it is ready to serve! Enjoy your meal!
