Directions
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In medium-sized bowl, mix together the butter and white sugar until it’s smooth and creamy.
Stir in the vanilla extract, followed by the flour, chopped walnuts, and salt, until the ingredients are well combined.
Using a tablespoon, scoop out the dough and shape it into balls. Place them an inch apart on your prepared baking sheet.
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until they turn a golden brown color.
As the cookies are baking, put the powdered sugar in a shallow dish.
Once the cookies are done baking, let them cool for a few minutes, then while they are still warm, roll them in the powdered sugar.
Place the sugar-coated cookies back on the baking sheet and let them cool completely. Repeat the sugar dusting process for a beautiful white coating.
Enjoy your walnut cookies with a hot drink or keep them in an airtight container for later.
