How to make Cheesy Creamy Pasta
This recipe for creamy pasta is a quick and easy dish that's perfect for any day of the week. The creamy sauce is made with just a few simple ingredients, and complements the pasta perfectly. You can add some chicken, shrimp or vegetables to make it more filling and nutritious.
Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1⁄2 Cup heavy cream
- 1⁄4 Cup parmesan
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 clove garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: shrimp, chicken chopped vegetables (spinach mushrooms...)

Directions
Cook the pasta according to directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Gradually whisk in the cream and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until it has melted completely. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the pasta to the sauce and mix until fully coated.
If desired, add in cooked shrimp, chicken or chopped vegetables at this point.
Serve hot and enjoy!
