How to make Big Soft Ginger Biscuits

Ingredients
- 225 gms of all-purpose flour
- 100 gms of light brown sugar
- 75 gms of butter
- 4 tbls of golden syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 teaspoons of ground ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of salt

Directions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, mix together the butter and light brown sugar until well combined and creamy. Beat in the egg and golden syrup.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition until a dough forms.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits.
Place the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving a gap between each one for them to expand during baking.
Bake for around 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
