Homemade Dandelion Syrup

- 400 g Dandelion flowers
- 1 pcs lemon
- 1 kg sugar
- 1 l water

1. Step
Rinse the dandelion blooms in water. Then remove the bottom of the flowers - the green part, which can give a bitter taste.
2. Step
Put the flowers in a pot, add water, chopped lemon and let it infuse overnight.
3. Step
The next day, strain the flowers through a gauze or sieve. Then pour the water into a pot, add sugar and heat until the sugar dissolves.
4. Step
Cover and let simmer over medium heat for approximately an hour.
5. Step
When the syrup is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool completely. Then pour it into clean glass bottles or jars and store in a cool, dark place.
