Directions
To bake the oatmeal cookies without sugar, first preheat your oven to 180°C. I find that this temperature is ideal for baking the cookies perfectly without them becoming too dry.
Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl. It's okay if there are a few small pieces left over - it adds a nice texture to the cookies.
Add the rolled oats, dried fruit, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Mix everything well. If the mixture is too dry, I sometimes add a dash of milk.
Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. I always use an ice cream scoop to form even cookies.
Bake the cookies for about 15-20 minutes. They are ready when they have a light golden brown color.
Leave the oatmeal cookies without sugar to cool on the baking tray for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. This will prevent the cookies from falling apart. I hope you enjoy these healthy oatmeal cookies as much as I do. They are the perfect snack for on the go or for breakfast. Bon appétit!
