Easy cheese and bacon cob loaf dip recipe

- 1 loaf Cob Bread
- 1 Block cream cheese
- 350 ml heavy cream
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 stalks spring onions
- 3⁄4 spoon salt
- 2 spoon garlic powder
- ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon maize starch

Directions
Cut a circle on top of the bread. Then, remove the lid and scoop out some bread from the inside. Cut that bread into smaller pieces and set aside.

In a frying pan, cook the bacon. Then, chop it into small pieces.

Chop the spring onions and cut the cream cheese.

In a saucepan, pour the cream and add the cream cheese, bacon, spring onion, salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Cook and constantly stirring.

Dissolve the cornstarch in 1 tbsp of water. Add it to the cheese mixture when it's melted. Cook it until thick. Pour the mixture into the cob loaf and bake it for 20 minutes in a preheated oven to 180°C.
