Easy and delicious fruit tart recipe
Fruit tart is easy to cook at home. Following this easy recipe, you'll have the most delicious fruit tart that you have ever taste.
Ingredients
Dough
- 2 Cup self-rising flour
- 200 g butter
- 1⁄2 Cup icing sugar
- 1 egg
Pastry cream
- 3 yolk
- 1 Cup milk
- 1⁄2 Cup maize starch
- 1⁄2 Cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Filling
- 1 can peaches
- 2 sliced peeled kiwis
- 1 sliced banana
- 4 sliced strawberries

Directions
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together with your hands to make a homogeneous dough.

Place in the refrigerator wrapped in plastic wrap for 15 minutes.

On a floured work surface, roll out the dough with a rolling pin and place it in the mould. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for 20 minutes.

In a small bowl, place the egg yolks, milk and cornflour. Then mix until smooth. Set aside.

In a 1/2 cup of water dissolve two sachets of unflavoured gelatine and 4 tbsp of normal sugar and leave to stand for 5 min. Heat in a small saucepan until boiling. Stir and allow to cool. Then brush over the fruit, leave to cool and serve.
