Chicken breast with cheese in the oven
All you need for this quick and easy recipe are a few basic ingredients. Good quality, freshly sourced chicken breasts are ideal, which will allow the dish to be really excellent.
Ingredients
- 2 pc chicken breast
- Salt, pepper and paprika to taste
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 dl heavy cream
- 100 g Grated cheese (you can also use emental, trappist or gouda)

Rinse the chicken breasts and season with salt, pepper and seasoning to taste.
Then heat the oil in a frying pan and brown the meat on both sides. The chicken breasts should be cooked in the oven for 3-5 minutes to get a nice golden brown, but the time may depend on the thickness of the chicken breasts.
Remove the meat from the pan and transfer to a heatproof tray.
Pour the cream over them (I prefer it a little creamier, but that's a matter of taste) and sprinkle with the cheese. You can also pour the juice left in the pan over the top.
Then place the chicken breasts in a preheated oven and bake at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is nicely melted and golden brown.
