Authentic Thai pork larb recipe
Thai food is amazing! That's why you should try to cook it at home. With this easy recipe, you will learn how to make authentic Thai pork larb.
Ingredients
- 300 g minced pork
- 0.125 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 limes
- 4 small shallots
- Culantro leaves
- 5 spring onions
- 20 peppermint leaves

Directions
Add the minced pork to a saucepan. Fry the pork, breaking it into small minced pieces until it’s fully cooked. Take the pork off the heat.
Add 1 heaping tablespoon of the toasted rice powder to the pork. Then, add the chilli flakes.
Add a pinch of sugar and fish sauce. Squeeze in the juice from 2 limes.
Give the pork and the seasoning a quick stir.
Peel and slice the shallots, finely mince about 5 green onions and a few culantro leaves and just pluck 20 mint leaves. Throw everything into the saucepan with the pork.
Give the larb moo a good mix, making sure all the spices and dressing coats the pork.
Dish it out onto a plate and garnish with more mint leaves, Thai sweet basil, and culantro.
