1. Step
Rinse the apples and lemon under running water. Gradually peel the apples and remove the core. Cut the apples into pieces. Slice the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.

Add apples, lemon juice, and sugar to the pot. Stir and let it simmer under the lid at medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until the apples soften.
3. Step
When the apples are soft, remove the pot from the fire and let it cool slightly. Then blend the apples into a smooth puree.
