Apple Pie from Yogurt Dough
Crisp and delicious apple pie that is easy to prepare. The dough is light and fluffy due to the use of yogurt, and the filling made from fresh apples provides the pie with sweetness and juiciness.
Ingredients
Dough
- 2 Cups yoghurt
- 4 cups self-rising flour
- 1 Spoon baking soda
- 80 g butter
- 80 g sugar
Filling
- 4 pcs apples
- 1 Spoon cinnamon

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Mix the ingredients for the dough - yogurt, flour, sugar, butter, and baking powder. Knead a smooth dough and let it rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, peel the apples, remove the cores and slice them into thin slices. Add the cinnamon and stir.
Take the dough out of the fridge and roll it out on a greased and floured baking sheet. Evenly arrange the chopped apples on it.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 60 minutes, until the cake is golden brown. Before serving the cake, let it cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
