Walnut muffins

Recipe for making delicious nut muffins that are perfect for a celebration or just to snack on.

  • 250 ml milk Added to
  • 100 g butter Added to

1. Step

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a muffin tin and place paper baskets in it.

2. Step

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Crush the nuts with a food processor until they are in small pieces - make sure they are not too fine. Mix them with the flour.

3. Step

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla extract.

4. Step

Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet and stir gently - I use a wooden spoon to gently mix the ingredients.

5. Step

Divide the prepared batter into baskets, they can't be filled almost to the brim - the muffins will rise nicely. Sprinkle them with a few more small pieces of nuts.

6. Step

Bake them for 20 minutes until they turn golden brown. After removing from the oven, let the muffins cool for a while.
