Quick & Easy Crispy Tofu Stir-Fry
A healthy vegan delight, Crispy Tofu Stir-Fry brings together the succulent texture of tofu with the rich flavors of different colors of bell peppers, onions, and stir-fry sauce. Ingredients
- 400 gms of tofu, drained and cubed
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 tbls of vegetable oil
- salt to taste
- 2 tbls of cornstarch
- 1 Cup of stir-fry sauce
- 2 tbls of sesame seeds

Directions
Begin by pressing the tofu to remove excess water. After draining, cut the tofu into cubes.
Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch until they are evenly coated.
Heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan. Add the coated tofu cubes and fry until they are crispy and golden brown.
Remove the crispy tofu from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add another two tablespoons of oil. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the pan. Cook until they are slightly softened.
Add the stir-fry sauce to the pan, stirring it to coat the vegetables.
Add the crispy tofu back into the pan, stirring to blend the tofu with the sauce and vegetables.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and give everything a final mix.
Serve the Crispy Tofu Stir-Fry warm with rice or noodles.
