How to prepare The Best Apple Pie
This rich and juicy homemade apple pie will become your favorite dessert. Ingredients
- 1 Ready-to-use puff pastry
- 5 Large apples
- 100 grams sugar
- 3 cdas of wheat flour
- 1 cdta Cinnamon powder
- 1⁄4 cdta nutmeg
- Juice of half a lime
- 1 egg
- 2 cdas of brown sugar
- 1 cdta Vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Peel, core and thinly slice the apples.
In a large bowl, combine the apple slices, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and lime juice. Mix well until the apples are well coated.
Roll out the puff pastry dough into a tart pan. Press the dough into the bottom and sides of the pan.
Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust, making sure it is well distributed.
Fold the edges of the puff pastry dough inward over the apples.
Beat the egg and brush the edges of the dough with it. Sprinkle with the brown sugar.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
