How to make Crispy Fried Fish Balls
A simple homemade meal, for when you're in the mood for some fried fish! Serve in soup, or with noodles and sauce.

- 430 g basa fish
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric
- 800 ml water

- 2 teaspoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 50 g onion
- 100 g boiled mashed potatoes
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon parsley

- 50 g All Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoon corn flour
- 120 ml water
- breadcrumbs

Directions
Mix basa fish with salt and turmeric. Let sit for 15 minutes. Add to water, bring to a boil, then remove from the heat and drain the fish. Blend and set aside.

Add garlic and ginger to hot oil in a skillet. Add onion and saute. Add mashed potatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Add the fish blend, salt, black pepper, chilli flakes, oregano, and mix. Cook for another 5 minutes. Add parsley, then set aside.

Mix the flours and water. Make balls from the fish mixture, dip in the flour batter and roll in breadcrumbs. Move to a skillet with heated oil. Deep fry till golden and crispy. Serve with mayo dipping sauce and enjoy!
