- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flake (optional)

1. Step
Empty the contents of one can of tomato paste into a small sauce pan.
2. Step
Add a small portion of water and mix it thoroughly into the paste. Continue to gradually add water while mixing until the desired thickness for your sauce is reached.

Stir in the sugar, garlic salt, basil, oregano, onion powder, and red pepper flake. (For a sweeter sauce, add up to another 1/2 teaspoon of sugar.)
