Green smoothie with Kale
I try to start every morning with a healthy, energizing smoothie. This smoothie recipe with kale is one of my favorites. Not only is it healthy and full of nutrients, but it also tastes great.
Ingredients
- 2 pcs Large kale leaves
- 1 pcs ripe banana
- 1 pcs Medium apple
- 1 spoon Linseed
- 1 spoon chia seeds
- 1 glass Water or plant milk
- A few ice cubes

Directions
First, wash the kale leaves and cut the thick stems. Remember, you can use any variety of kale you prefer. Each has a slightly different flavor, but all will be good in this recipe.
Next, wash and slice the apple. You don't need to peel it, the peel adds extra nutrients.
The banana should be peeled and cut into pieces. Please note that the riper the banana, the sweeter the smoothie will be.
Transfer all ingredients to a blender, add flaxseeds, chia seeds, water (or plant milk) and ice cubes.
Mix everything together on the highest speed until you get a uniform consistency.
Serve right away, when it's at its freshest. If you like, you can add a few extra chia seeds on top for decoration.
