French chocolate cake
A delicious French chocolate cake aka "Gâteau au Chocolat", which you can easily bake at home.

- 200 g Quality dark chocolate
- 200 g butter
- 4 a piece Eggs
- 200 g Cane sugar
- 100 g Plain flour
- 1 kl baking powder

1. Step
First, preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath. This way you get a uniform and smooth mixture without unwanted lumps.
2. Step
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar. Then add the plain flour and baking powder.
3. Step
Slowly add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well. The batter should be smooth and lump-free.
4. Step
Pour the batter into a baking dish lined with baking paper and bake for 25-30 minutes.
5. Step
Let the cake cool after baking. This step is necessary because if you cut the cake while it is still warm, it may fall apart.
